Title: Nokia app development site
Post by: tigers_gonads on 02 October 2012, 12:46:03
Has anybody on here had any dealings with them.

The reason is, my lad wrote and published a app which by current estimation owes him around 1600 euro's (over 3000 apps sold) in just over month  :D

2 weeks ago, the site stopped updating for whatever reason.
He recieved a email stateing that the site would be down for 5 days.  That was 2 weeks ago   >:(

He has sent various emails too the site requesting infomation about his account but it seems that he is being f**ked around left, right and centre by them.

He has now been told by the development section that because his is a new account, it could be 3 months before he see's any payment for his hard work  >:(

Anybody know anything about this or there procedures ?

Note:-   Please don't turn this topic into a my operating system is better then yours thread  ::)
Just relivant infomation please  ;)

Thats what (along with the bank manager) finished me off 2 years ago  >:(

Had a word with mini me.
When he started this little enterprise, he was told that he would recieve a invoice at the end of each calender month via email then payment for that invoice would be completed (via b.a.c.s.) within 14 working days  :(

Check there 14 day payment in there Terms and Conditions.

I did some Comms work for Psion a few years back in High Wycombe, they had a 28 Day payment policy but was informed by there chap, Invoices get accepted by there Ledger on the 30th of each month, then 30 Days to process the Invoice, payment is 28 days after processing. Told them to stick it, for the 3 days work.

Got a call later that day from them asking would I do the work for a increase in my costs to cover there payment terms, Yep, doubled it.
