Title: Is there a Tax advantage to being married?

I thought this was done away with years ago, but a TV programme swmbo is watching suggests there is...........could I have been saving myself a fortune..... ::) ::) ::)

I think they was going too look at it but too many people started whineing about it not been fair to co inhabiting couples  :-\

I must admit I didn't understand that, but there again I dont have private school fees to pay for!

In a word, no. Socialists don't think that having a more stable society is necessary or desirable, based on the family unit, it is much better to have lots of single parent families relying on the state.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Children do much better when they are part of family with two parents, especially boys. But that wont provide the delinquents that keep the social workers, probation service, community sentence staff, police, justice system, prison warders, council drug and rehab centres and many other public sector workers in their jobs.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Absolutely agree, but a stable partnership is better than an aggressive and argumentative marriage.......you may be surprised at the number of married couples that need the intervention of social workers, and not just in the, considered lower classes........ :-X :-X :-X
