Title: Windscreen seal
Post by: Raymienets on 03 October 2012, 08:32:20
Is the seal easily replacable. Someone decided to try and help me remove my windscreen last night, when I was in my bed. Is it all the one piece as mine has bits lying all over the roof.

On further inspection do not think it was a person but a thing.

I recently had a windscreen fitted and the fitter used a new seal not genuine but looks and works OK

why is it that omega's have become tasty to wildlife - mice have started on my plug leads and the foam on the scuttle....

I've never thought of eating bits of a car no matter how peckish I am

Its not a seal..its a trim...glass is bonded in with eurothane (thats the seal) trim is put on glass prior to fitting so sounds like you need a remove and refit of the screen with a new trim :y

Had a look on the 2.6 as its of the road and yes its different. The one on the 2.2 just has a lip that just slips in. Managed to sit it in but about 5 inches is now missing.

Looks like you have been visited by the local fox its not a seal just a trim so you won't have any water come in. :) Looks like bigtime beat me to it
