I presumed the advisory is the MOTs way of saying: "There are bit plastic fake sills on this car so we're unable to check the actual structural part to ensure it's not a giant rusty hole. As the car owner, it's your responsibility to make sure the vehicle is road worthy, including the bits we can't see. Have at it."

He says, knowing full well that there are rust tendrils creeping out from under the sill cover on the drivers side  :'(

Mines in for M.o.T tomorrow[Friday}never had such advisories for either Senator B's I've owned[which had plastic sill covers]or for previous pfl Elite I used to own.Be interesting to see tomorrow whether ideas have altered from last year when my last Senator was tested.

Mine was in for test today,passed at first time of asking[gobsmacked!]only advisories were a couple of brake pipes and staining on rear number plate.No mention one way or the other on sill covers!!
