Title: ignition barrel out but new one not going in

got old one out no probs but new one will only go in three quarters of the way,,, any sugestions please

Pull the new one back out. In the depths of the slot there's a tab which needs pushing down, you should then be able push the barrel fully home :y

Make sure the actual ignition switch, other side of column is set at the correct position with a long screwy, I think it is second click? Had this myself and cracked the new barrel by trying to force it in
