Title: 2.2 missing gears !!!!!

Hi there
I wonder if anyone could shed some light on a gearbox problem i have with my 2001 2.2 petrol auto estate ???

Now and again when you pull of a fast road into a village and slow down she seams to change from 1st to second ok then she occasionally seems to miss 3rd and jump into neutral ! :(

Any help would be greatly recieved

have done chap
used to play up like hell but was fine for a while after i changed the ecu temp sender

2-3 solenoid sticking in main sump in box..remove and replace

sounds like that could be fun............can i drop the sump while the box is in the car ????>>>>just in the process of moving house so havent had a chance to get under her yet and have a decent look

Not at the moment.Ive recently sold one,but I knolw a man who might have in for sale in a month or two.
