Hi Peeps
Can anybody tell me how hard/easy it is to retro fit headlight washers. I have obtained a bumper off a FL Elite with washers I am fitting it to a FL CD what will I need to complete this job. Cheers

Think the wiring is all in place, so its just a case of bolting bits on - washer bottle, pump, relay, tubes, nozzles etc.
-
Thanks for that, just need to get the bits

All sound advice so there is nowt else to say apart from get on with it........... :y

I've got the elite bumper with the washer jets just missing all the bits to make them work but working on that with the help of ALBS. Thanks for the help and encouragement :y

Another step closer to getting the job done thanks to Albs and Twiglet, now got all the bits necessary to complete the job only waiting for the bumper to be sprayed he's had it for nearly four weeks. Should not have said no hurry. Thanks again guys much appreciated :y

Out of curiosity would the pump to the right in the shot be the screen washer pump?

Was nice to meet you mate.I think I might have mentioned it,but I did like your metallic black Omega. :y :D

New washer bottle now in place and all working ( I put the relay in temporarily to test it ) the hardest bit was removing the the air intake pipe and even harder putting it back, I had to remove offside headlight to get access to the bottom screw of air intake. now just waiting for my bumper to be finished (never should have said no rush) been promised end of the week, you know what they say "live in hope die in despair" ;D

Just another out of interest, I notice the well know auction site sell the washer bottles with comments like 6.3 litre for headlight washer, my GLS has that bottle fitted with blanking plugs for the headlight pump and what I assume is the level indicator which would not be on a GLS, or is that bottle the standard size.?
