I ran over a Peasant earlier. He didn't stand a chance, he just ran out into the road when I was doing fifty. I braked hard, but I couldn't slow off enough.
Looked in the mirror & he was a gona. Quite literally less than two mins later another Peasant runs in front of me & I broke in time for this one.
They really are very thick birds ;D ;D

Here are a few more peasants, quite common around here. I will go out later and see if I can make my own tally ;D ;D (http://gregorycanada3.wikispaces.com/file/view/peasant-costume2.gif/218087314/peasant-costume2.gif)

If you drive too close to the verge, the pHeasants can try to run across,
try holding a position more to the centre of the road, out of the gutter, as the birds often look for grit in the roadside,
pheasants are worth about £25 each to the shoot, but about a quid in the hand,
as to peasants I suppose they should pay more attention?

Nice one Tonka ;D ;D Oddly enough, they did look similar to ones in the pic :-X
I was more bothered about my Irmscher bumper/grilles than their lives. I can see lots of what looks like chalk dust where he impacted the bumper. I guess he's been having a few dust baths recently.
