Title: Oxford meet Cutteslowe Park 14th October
Post by: ianu on 14 October 2012, 22:51:43
Great turnout chaps  :y - well done and the weather was really quite pleasant in the sunshine  8).
Despite what you may think - everything was looking very shiny too ( I did my best TB - but you can't go wrong with silver really can you ?  ;))

Something about white (even without the jam) looks very nice.. First time I've seen two whites together at a meet - a real treat.  :o

Ben I wish your car would make up its mind what colour it is - it plays havoc with my colour balances ?  :-\

Sorry TB - not enough time to photoshop the flies out I'm afraid - should have got my emergency detail kit out and taken care of them on site  :-[

My other favourite - how many Omegas can you get in one shot without too much background clutter  ::)

I like this too - perfect contribution TB, setting off Pauls beautifully.  :y

Team GB - my personal contribution. Subtle - but I think it made all the difference ::)

As always a nice selection to shoot and a challenging car park to keep it interesting.
Thanks for the tea TB  :y, look forward to maybe seeing some of you at the Classic Car show at the NEC on the 17th Nov and the rest at our next meet sometime  :y :y.
Cheers
Ian.

Getting to recognise your pics now, Ian...novel attack in a multicar carpark. I think you did well....As did OOF in keeping the space clear next to EX Taxi Al's Estate ;D ;D
Pity you did not make last Wycombe meet....you would have had a field day, as at Kassam. One certain car is missing though...maybe not Omega but.....Josh is an exception :y
Keep up the good work :y

Ianu - the pic of yours showing off the Union Jack, are there optical illusions going on, as it looks like its a full 90 degree side on shot to me, but with an impossible amount of steering lock.

Camera never lies? I think you have the capability to prove otherwise ;D :y

Fantastic pictures, as always :y

Ianu, i can give you a field day with mine to home in on your camera skills if you like  :P

I just love the fact that its such an unusual colour and that so many people have not seen one in this before. It looks brilliant in the sun, but overcast, it does look grey and dull.  ::)

Thanks for the comments Gents  :y.
Paul thanks for the headlight link - I'll have to see if santa is feeling generous this year (swmbo  :() although I don't think they are quite the same as Symes.
Thanks for the offer Ben - I'll see what I can do at the next meet whenever that might be  :y.
Autumn is here and the colours on the trees are just about to get mindblowing  :o so if you know of a nice spot that would make a good backdrop - let me know  :y  :P

Cheers
Ian
