Title: Omegaless
Post by: OOMV6 on 15 October 2012, 19:00:33
Today my Omega went.

In a previous discussion, http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=106422.msg1331891#msg1331891 , I had said I would slowly restore it.

But, with aa rear caliper needed, cam cover gaskets, 4 all weather tyres (or 8 tyres, if I were to do the summer / winter change), and having knocking from both front and back suspension, a new cambelt soon, and in the last few days the alternator failed, it was time to do something about it.

Worth nothing. But I needed a van for work.

So how much does one get for a knackered Omega against a 2009 Renault Trafic?

Well in my case, 4 winter tyres on rims - total value 880 euro. Obviously for the garage they haven't paid 880 for a crap Omega, but I got 880 euros worth of goods for my Omega.

I'll probably hang here for a while - we'll see.
