Drove a 7.5t Eurocargo at TNT which could be started with ANYTHING vaguely key shaped, ie flat and narrow, because the barrel was shot, could lock the doors ok though :y Was a bit disconcerting because the key fell out every time you went over a bump ;D

We had that with an Iveco van we used to have, as well as when the body flexed when going round left hand bends the drivers door would spring open, you didn't know what to grab first, the door or the keys which would exit the open door..............

I've been to several breakdowns like that.
The hard part is deciding what to write on the paperwork so that the customer is prepared to sign it!

Yep, but only the Sierra Cosworth was desirable enough to steal, which is why you were lucky if they stayed on your driveway overnight. ;D

I got back to my Cortina to find I'd locked them inside the car, in the ignition. Looking around the car park I saw a woman in another Ford waiting for someone, so I asked her if I could borrow her keys ......
The look on her face was priceless as I easily unlocked my car with her keys!  ;D ;D ;D

Yep, my ex-wife had the same panic, just after I got the Omega.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

My Kawasaki where the ignition barrel is worn allows you to remove the key while the engine is running.  ???
