Title: Scrap Collection

Just had a bloke knock the door asking if i wanted to sell the car , i was upstairs and and swmbo answered it ... im sure he was the scrap man as he asked if the car was being used or not .... cheeky blighter  >:( I know the car is rough at the minute but hell not that bad to be crushed  ::) ;D

Yeah, I had that happen ....not on this car, but I had a Rover 820 SI Auto. Knocked on the door asking if I wanted to scrap it. Fella had an Irish accent.
They obviously do the rounds, and as it did not move for a couple of weeks, they are at you like rats out of a pipe >:(
Told him politely where to go >:( ;D ;D ;D

My Mig was looking sorry for it's self on the driveway all covered in dirt etc and I got 3 knocks in a fortnight. However if it's clean they don't bother me. So now it gets cleaned and if I'm not using it I make a point of moving it around a bit to keep it looking used.

The only other time i had some bloke knock the door was when my triumph herald was sitting for 3 months unfinished under a tarp , thinking about it ... it must of been the same time of year they called a few years back . Think ill double lock the elite tonight  ::)
