Here we go into the winter and Leicester has this to look forward to today;

Is it UK widespread and what the future holds for all? :-\
Bet the repair shops are rubbing their hands and the insurance companies developing new 'sorry but we cannot pay' excuses........

And pretty bad fog here last few days :( The candle fog lights working overtime ;D

<sigh> More idiots driving round with their fog lights on for the next few months, until they finally remember what that little orange light means. ::)
-
More of a mist here, hardly call it fog.
The number of idiots without lights on is astounding :( >:( >:(

That really does my head in...these idiots that drive around with fog lights on >:( How many times have you been dazzled on motorways, with
idiots using foglights in a barely visable mist or a slight drizzle. I thought that there was a law about visability and the use of fog lights ???

??? Dazzled by foglights ?!? What were you doing, press-ups ?

Not seen the sky round here for the last 2 days :(

Why do people have front fogs on regardless of night/day, visibility or weather? What's even more stupid is when it's dark they have side lights on, and fogs, but no headlights! Why do people do that? Are they retarded? Do they not know its annoying to everyone else? Also the idiots who pull over at night and leave their headlights on inside of sidelights, happily blinding you as you drive down the street
If you do this, STOP IT! It's not big, it's not clever, and it's not cool.
It doesn't somehow make your car look more sporty, of faster.

Quite agree, very annoying..... >:(
For different reasons I have to park on the carrigway facing traffic to reverse onto my drive, I always turn of the head lamps so that other drivers can get a better view of oncoming traffic to enable them to pass me....... :)

I have decided it must be some sort of signal, as is driving with one of your headlights out (and, in addition, doing same but using fog lights to compensate for the lack of light). There simply can't be that many people who are stupid enough not to notice that the visibility is well in excess of 100m nor enough who can't be bothered to change a bulb.
So, I believe it is probably a signal that says "I'm available for a bit of dogging. I'll be pulling in to the next layby if you're interested.". ;)

I hasten to add that I've not, and will not, be testing the above theory. ::)

My journey into work on Tuesday - 27m - took 1:45. I especially left early do to amount of work I had to get done.
Why so long? Well, accidents. Every other car had rammed the car in front up the chuff, as they didn't see the brakelights, due to all the 'tards having foglights on. Visibility, whilst not great, was 7-10 times the 100yrds for fog light use.
Brain dead 'tards, "oh I must use this button on my car, despite I know the car behind can see me"
-
Think about the only time the foglights[front or rear]are turned on on my cars is during the M.O.T.test!!

Fronts aren't part of MOT, are they?
