Title: CCR2006 . . . Yet Again - Sorry

Ok, a point-by-point post

Just got a 2000 X plate 2.5 Elite Estate
CCR 2006 BOSE - says so on the screen when switching on
There's a card with a code, this is NOT a Vauxhall card, It's some car audio company in B'ham
Radio works, Cassette Player works
CD player shows CDC Safe, CD holder goes in etc
Tried code twice as in handbook IE: Ign On, press AS while turning unit on, enter code using 1-2-3-4
Press AS till beep
Nothing - stays the same

So, am I missing something or do I send it off to . . . . . . umm someone on this board
Is the BOSE thing a problem ?

I'm not much of a DIYer, but happy to remove unit and send it off somewhere. I just want to listen to CDs in car. It's the only place I really get to listen to stuff I like (The Mrs complains at home!).

Ah, I knew I'd seen it somewhere. Off it goes then I think. I'm assuming that the BOSE bit will not be affected ?

I did consider simply getting rid of it and going to Halfords or wherever for a new cheapo unit, But I suspect a can of worms may loom.

BOSE is the problem as it's not compatible with anything else  :(

Sent on Wednesday last week, received back today Monday. Sorted it seems. Good

Mrs really NOT happy, she now has to listen to my CDs in car.  ;D

Doesn't everyone like Machine Head ?

Sparks ? Video killed the radio star Sparks ? Blimey. All the other deffo. Errr just thought, when I said Machine Head I meant the San Fran metal band not the Purple album.
