Title: Turning cold
Post by: Rods2 on 25 October 2012, 21:38:31
They have forecast an Arctic blast starting tomorrow for a few days, with snow in Scotland and maybe also in the north.

So make sure you are ready for winter and your car anti-freeze is at full strength.

I'm off to the tin tent for the few days
Might be a bit chilly but a good walk on the beach with da mut should clear the smog out of my lungs  :y

I love a nice stroll on a cold day, as long as I'm wrapped up warm. As you say, clears the lungs, but also helps clear the mind as well :)

Yeah, roll on some nice, crisp winter weather. Can't stand this damp, grey, middle-of-the-road weather. :(

Hmmm, so going by recent posts we'll have some bright spark extracting warm air from thin air then? look forward to that. ;D

Seems to be a reasonable forecast (last time I looked) for Saturday, cold but sunny - should be perfect for a hoon around Oulton Park. Better than the last trip to Anglesey when it rained the whole time, anyway ;D

You mean like an air sourced heat pump (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_source_heat_pumps)? Yeah, they do that ;)

The one in my office doesn't any more. >:( After the 4th attempt to fix it, you'd have thought they'd twig that the refrigerant is leaking somewhere. ::)

Not that it extracts warm air.. There's enough kit in here to keep it cooling all year round. ;D

I tend to avoid using that site since hearing that its founder is a jailed kiddy fiddler.
