Title: cross over valves on the 2.5 v6

hi phill here what are the cross over valves on the intake for on the 2.5 v6 engine?

Do you mean multi rams on ther front bagpipes and at the back of the plenium, these are to allow more efficent  use of the induction at wide open throttle times.
(Think that is what i does anyway.)

Not quite, its to flatten the torque curve :)
