Title: cruise controll

hi i have a 2.2 cd omega .2003 facelift .could someone help with some information .the car is non cruise control but does have the fly by wire throttle and if u touch the brake peddel it kills the rev straight away just like canceling cruise crontroll .i have replaced the left stalk with one that has the cruise control buttons ,their was an extra 4 pin socket un used under the cover which i have conected to the new switch ,but still no cruise control ! any help greatfully recieved   :y

Being a Late 2.2 may need a chat with a Tech II Tool.

as above, Tech 2 to enable. Yes, when crusie is on, pressing the brake switches it off, or the big bottom button on the stalk  :y

Aye, needs cruise enabled. If its a manual, it *may* need a clutch switch as well.

mine is a 2001 51 2.6 auto can i just fit the stalk to enable the cruise control is there a plug that i can just plug into pls help i need cruise control like yesterday

Sorry, my previous reply really wasn't helpful  :-[

As well as the stalk, a 2.6 auto needs the cruise enabling, which requires a visit to someone with a Tech2 - http://theboy.omegaowners.com
