Have a read of this thread http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1206389782

There's a known issue on the 3.2 and your CAT may not have "failed" per-se; the 3.2 ECU is extremely sensitive and a bit unfair to tired pre-cats.

EDIT: in the light of our most recent post this may not be relevant for you, but still worth noting.

When I last needed cats x2 on my Elite some considerable time ago I know my Vx dealer first quoted £800 for the two, but then the parts manager I knew suggested I had two refurbs on a special part number known only to them for £400!   I expect things have changed now (the prices?!) but those 'special part no.' cats may still be available.  If so that is one route to take, but I feel sure others in the oof will have other ideas! :y :y

Due to your location may I suggest you PM 'The Boy' who has a Tech II and will give you a far better diagnosis than VX before spending money on Cats.

You may not get a reply from him until tomorrow evening though.
