Code 31!?? $^&$* limited time frame as my Misses is in your part of the planet!, Manchester but we live in NZ and shes coming home tomorrow!
. Long story short had to use the Omega (2.5) this morning in an emergency and even though its run like crap a few times in the past its never not started..until now.
Wound over but nothing, fairly sure it hasnt done a cambelt but has that "winding over and doing nothing" sound to it. Was running fine the previous day, nothing to sugest it was going to crap itself
Need to confirm its a crank sensor as the local agent here wants $400nz (200GBP) and if i order one from the UK it takes 3-4 weeks to get here and you have to buy the courier a new house.. Please confirm!
Cheers!

31 is normal with engine off.

However I'd get a crank sensor while you can anyway, as a spare. They all go eventually, and they don't always give a 19 code.
-
ah hell it too, im getting the thought its dropped its timing belt.. cant think over anything else!??
-
Apart from a possible lack of compression you refer too, it's typical crank sensor.
Just not showing the code. Best check the belt...?
-
If you undo the Torx bolts on the top left side of the belt cover, you can see the belt in place.
