Who is HWMBO?
He Whom Must Be Obeyed....a certain forum 'senior' with an allergy to oil threads; and a known post-count subtractor! ;D

Oil threads recurr on here with annoying regularity, if you have been around for a while.
As you are a relative newcomer, as are a number of others, will let this bounce around for a wee while...
Some others mods are less tolerant... ;)

Thing is though when i am looking on the forum and see something i have seen before or does not interest me then i dont look at it simple really i dont see the big deal. As a new member i have already seen a number of topics re appear but it doesnt bother me and dont see why it should others. Where not giving people abuse or anything and there are much more important things in life than a thread re appearing again on a forum, come on people lets put things in perspective and not let things go to our head.

Quite correct and I agree completely.
If, however, you are a moderator/admin then, in order to ensure that forum use guidelines are not abused etc then its quite tiresome to see a subject done to death when you view (or attempt to view) all posts in all threads.
It becomes more infuriating when some folks who have more than a passing knowledge of their specialist field try to explain things to persons who think that they are the font of knowledge in that same field and actually have no concept of how the tap really works.....
I'm off out.... ;)

I appreciate repetitive posts can be irritating but i had to ask this advice once. I know the correct oil now but newer members might ask the same question i did a while back & be equally in need of said advice.

something that has been bugging me for quite a while: is it too dificult to have the forum little bit better organized. maybe some subfolders under such wide subjects like general help.

Sub boards are not a feature of the software we use. It is possible to add, though a lot of work, but the trouble with that, it has to be redeveloped after each update. Sub boards would be useful.

afaik the people who run it do so on a voluntary basis,so do it in their spare time between job, working on cars, drinking beer.family life etc; so bearing that in mind i personally have no complaints tbh.i am also used to it the way it is and imo its ok as it is.but we are all a bit different i suppose :y

i agree and understand.
maybe a sticky for newbies suggesting them to use google search, instead of having the same topic repeated every so often.
