I have a new message on my MID....
Low Beam
Fld/Vision
Any ideas what it is? I did have something going on with my auto headlight levelling but I think that has gone away???
-
Yup, headlight levelling.
Usually either the sensor has popped its arm off, or a servo motor has seized - is one light low, or both low?
-
Had same problem.....was the sensor as TB says. It was the one just in front of the nearside real wheel in my case. Simple repair....either arm needs popping on or replacement sensor. Again, easy to replace :y
-
I don't think either one is???
I will find a wall and have a look tomorrow, also have a look at the arms in the daylight...
Thanks for the pointer...
Is there any way to test???
-
I had a gremlin in system some years ago - headlight field/vision or something came up irregularly over say a 3 year period -nothing found so I ignored it and has not recurred in almost 3 years now. Just see how it goes before spending time and money on it - cannot remember if any coes showed. Kevin ran Tech II on it early 2010 - no codes I recall.

A proper code reader will tell you which sensor & presumably which headlamp motor is faulty
-
If it's the sensors, then it should be blindingly obvious what the problem is when you look :y

I'm guessing if the arm has fallen off???

Aye :y

Aye :y
Thank you, I will have a look at work tomorrow.... :y

Not always :-\. Mine was goosed electrically but looked perfectly OK. :y Tech II said it was the front sensor & A N Other sensor fixed it.

I have a LAUNCH box at work, if I have time, I will plug it in... Thanks for the pointer. :y
