Title: Family guy
Post by: prestigesec on 27 April 2008, 22:50:19
Anybody else watched this? My girlfriend has been telling me to watch it and finally did last night and never laughed so hard in a long time some of the most un politically correct humour i have ever seen strange how they get away with some of it. Anyway i am not complaining its a refreshing change. Its on BBC3 tonight at 11pm well worth a look.

In my opinion, yes. Sometimes a little more political. The main character is a very stupid Special Agent, it's about his home-life, but he has problems detatching himself from his work.

Family Guy, American Dad and King of the Hill. all very good and funny.
For those with sky, family guy is on most nights on FX channel 165/166 as is american dad.
king of the hill used to be but not seen it in a while.

Family guy is brilliant and a great favourite in this family. It really annoys me when we Brits say that americans don't understand irony, yet the standard of some of their comedy is currently higher than much of ours.

Some of the stuff they come out with amazes me, "like that time when I ...............

Exactly......that's what makes it so good. :y One in the eye for the PC brigade. South Park get away with murder too - very funny sometimes.

Particularly loved the one when peter had the prostate exam, couldn't stop and still do LMAO at that one. "The bad man took my innocence"
