As some of you know, I managed to thump myslef in the face yesterday. Got to own up, I felt it. And the swelling affected my vision.
Anyway, tried to sleep on the other side of my face last night, but must have rolled over, as I woke up in a bit of pain.
Then, when playing with the cars in the sunshine, the flies were annoying me, kept landing on my face. So a slapped one. Yup, you guessed it, right where I'd hit myself yesterday. That bloody smarted :-[

On the upside, the pesky fly bought it!

Witchhazel (available at most pharmacies) soaked into a cottonwool pad is good at drawing-out bruises/reducing swelling around the eye....and soothing the pain too.
Old-fashioned remedy, but works really well! ;)

I'm sure there are therapy groups for self harmers ;D
When I go in to work on Tuesday, its going to be 'I walked into a door' (got a bruised, swollen area just above cheekbone, looks like I've been lumped)

when you go to work tomorrow you will be able to recall your exciting sat.night when 6 or 7 hoodies jumped you and you had to hospitalise them, but unfortunately one of them managed to get a lucky punch in just before he lapsed into a coma. :y ;D ;D.....oops,i was typing mine while you were posting yours. :D

Only had a couple last night, small bottles at that. One of those nights when they just weren't going down nicely.

most of bruising that was there yesterday morning has gone, little bit left. The cut is now all scabby. Swelling still there, but going down

if you get yourself on the other side of your face too you could convince friends and colleagues you were going for that 'adam ant' look
stand and deliver etc...
