What is the answer to this please?................. :y
Y is directionally proportional to X, if Y= 5 and X= 1.5 find X when Y=
-
X=(1.5/5)*Y

That does not help me do Darth's daughters homework.... ::) ::) ::)
Next questions - T is directly proportional to the square root of L, T= 6 and L= 6.25 find T when L= 1.96

Y is directionally proportional to X, if Y= 5 and X= 1.5 find X when Y= ???
y=nX and there is something wrong in the question.. they must ask one of them not both unknown!

T is directly proportional to the square root of L, T= 6 and L= 6.25 find T when L= 1.96
T= n (√ L) given the original facts T = 6 L = 6.25
then 6 = n(√6.25) or, n = 6/ √6.25; n= 6/2,5; n= 2.4
To find T when L = 1.96
T = n(√1.96) = 2.4 (from above) (√1.96) = 2.4(1.4) = 3.36
edited to use √ symbol .. . :)
