Title: Switching a GID to a CID

I have had a CID for a while and have tried to get the unit set up in place of the GID.  The radio is an NCDC 2013 although I also have a 2015.  Since the car is a 2002 facelift elite is it simply a matter of putting in the extra plug (taped behind the pillar) into the GID and replugging the original plug into the display or is there some set up required?  The local VX dealer has no idea!

Hi and welcome to the forum :y

The head units are paired to the CID and can't just be swapped, they have to be de paired by a proper Tech 2
