Kids tend to say how and what it is, be warned cos at some stage they are going to drop you right in it on almost any subject cos we all say or do something that our kids are aware of that we would rather our wider family would not know..... :D :D :D

And this is intended as an innocent statement, nothing to do with underhand secrets.......I feel sad that I even had to say that....... ::) ::) ::)

I think most of us make a conscious decision not to be like our fathers. In some small ways I at least succeed. But ultimately I know I'm just the same deep down  :(

I find myself saying all the things that, as a child, I said I would never say........ ::) ::)  When I was your age..............etc etc...................Guilty as charged, but Miss Vamps still loves me whatever................ :D :D :D

That really rings a bell here too  :y
I think though that its more of a father / son thing?
At this point ( and long may it last  :-X ) I can do no wrong as far as Miss2112 is concerned.
Her older brother, and I suppose my oldest daughter, may have different opinions  ::)

Now I DEFINITELY won't be like either set of parents when it comes to MY grand kids. That's for sure. Just hoping it won't be any time soon  :-X
My eldest daughter is getting married next year so I guess it won't be too long ........

I'm just being cynical really. Most of the time I wouldn't be without them, but admit that the youngest is most spoilt, and maybe I'm mellower now I'm a bit older, which makes relationships easier?

I guess so, though it only seems to work downwards, and not 'up' the family tree......
Strange. I'm gonna have to do something about that.
