Do the said stereos fit ok in Omegas? ???

Basically yes, but not much room behind for wiring, and you need an adapter plate Autoleads DFP-19-00/CG,  also available as a fitting kit with cage and trim :y

Need to remove the original cage, 1 screw and unplug the radio loom from it :y

 :y off top of me head, fitting kit is DFK-19-00/CG, readily available on Egay or at a push Helfrods to order.

You'll also need vaseline, they're a king tight fit :y

The only thing that puts me off this type of stereo is that none of them seem to have any security features

I'm looking at a pioneer avh2400, according to pioneer you can bolt it in, which I think would be a bit fiddly. So if the stereo is stolen they'll take the dash with it

Pulling it out quickly will probably opps the dash anyway, that's how tight they are :y
