Post by: Y26SE on 01 December 2012, 20:30:42

Can you fit and use a traction control switch to a cdx

Who, what and where was the colour satnav fitted.

Thanks

 .....

if it's a V6, it should already have one fitted. If it's not a V6 ....... you'll struggle to spin wheels anyway so not worth trying to fit!  ;) ;) ;) ;)

CID was an option on all F/L Elites if GID was fitted

A friend of mine is looking into getting an omega so we've been going through the guide section on trim levels and toys you get  and he likes the cdx trim on a v6 but just wanted to confirm it could have the tc turned off for special occasions and if auto rain sensors and cid could be retro fitted and get a few mv6 bits on it.

Mv6 with manual box seem a bit few and far between.

If fitted can be disabled by pressing the switch.

CID is easy enough. Rain sensing wipers are "challenging"

CID only works with NCDC201x stereos. Possible to retrofit. Not quite plug and play, but not hard.

Rain sensing wipers needs a lot more work, and I'd have to say, not worth the effort.

TC - if a v6, it will already have the switch (maybe not on plod-spec cars). Other engines don't have TC.
