Title: Dodgy trip readings
Post by: tobyd10 on 07 December 2012, 20:48:29
Hi,
I have replaced the ncdc13 and screen in my 2.6 estate. The trip readings are all over the place telling me I am doing 7.1 mpg. I am presuming the radio came from a car with a different engine or transmission so is not calibrated for my car - can this be so and how would I adjust it?
Cheers

Assuming thats the problem, which sounds like it is to me, it will need reprograming with a Tech II, a few members have them on here.

Yes, I believe wrong config. When I go out, I'll check how to get the config off the display (I can remember how, just can't remember which figure it is).

Press and hold MAIN for 7s, then press BC, you should have a screen full of numbers. Post a pic, and I'll check.

Reprogram needs Tech2.
