Post by: Olympia5776 on 09 December 2012, 22:32:16
Bloody headlamp adjusted went "pop"! today whilst I was changing a side light bulb.
Are the alluminium adjusters still available ?
Going by the interest in the recent ones that were offered for sale I'm a little pessamistic........
NCT (MOT) booked for Thursday 13th :'(

Either the price has risen dramatically in the last couple of years or he gives OOFers a big discount,as I didnt pay anything like that amount. :-\

I,m looking to get a set of these just in case as I am sure both of my headlamps are set to low. Can see more up the road in the Cav on dip than the Mig. dont want to adjust them and have them break without the fix to hand. May also black the insides while they are apart....

I've been in touch via the Ebay ad with the member who sells them and he offered me an explanation as to why the P&P was so expensive to Ireland .
I've decided not to purchase the unit.

BUT.... I bought a replacement complete headlamp unit today from another  member on here who breaks Omegas up in NI for not much more than the adjuster and guess what , it has an alluminium adjuster fitted......... :)

Yep , he did to me too and I thank him but the issue of postage cost still exists which simply makes it less viable to me down here in Southern Ireland . :y
