Well it probably isn't the sampling fan or the cam covers, 'cos I don't think moggies have those.   :)

Well our moggy doesn't, and she's been in for a service quite recently.  Hyperthyroid, apparently, used to eat all day and lose weight.  So they gave her some little pink pills, and she now eats all day and looks like a black and white football.

Hope your invalid gets well soon :)

That sounds nasty - what happened?  Did he/she get run over, or fall off something high, or is it just old age, like with people?

The poor thing is probably too embarrassed to say what really happened :(

Hope he/she recovers quickly :)

Human stupidity every were bod- a few years back i saw a cat get run over by a Ford Escort on a straight road with a 30 limit. The guy driving it saw the cat, because he saw me almost stop, because the cat was in the middle of the road & he just didn't take avoiding action & ran over the cats back end. I can still see the cats face as it tried in vain to move. Personally i'm not a cat person, but i don't like to see an animal suffer  :'( & have been known to kill things so as it's not suffering.
When your a farmers son you look on things in a different light.

I saw someone do that to a pheasant a few months back - I saw the thing from 50m behind him, so he must have seen it, but didn't take any avoiding action.

It ended up in the bushes beside the road, but, despite having lived in the country for 25 years, I'm a townie, and I was far to squeamish to go and look at the poor thing.   :'(

I was quite upset. :(
