how can i tell if my cat has gone car seems to be running poor sounds like exhuast blowing and poping but not and judders in all gears or is it a differnt prob to why not running right  only started since heavy rain fall other night

worth checking for any codes may give you a pointer as to fault ;) possible misfire worth checking plug leads& coil pack for water ingress  :-\

Usually leaks past the scuttle area (where the windscreen wipers are bolted), there is a join which is above the dispack on a 2.5

Sounds like a misfire mate - check for water (and/or oil) in plug wells as well as soaked diss pack :y
