Could I please ask admin to move this to the Cars For Sale/Wanted section pretty please?
I'm looking for the Holy Grail, the sort of car that an elderly person has used to pop down to the shops and the golf club once a week, so has zero miles on the clock. Failing that I will consider anything! :)
I had a 2000 model saloon as my company car from new and would like to re-acquaint myself with the marque as I thought it an extremely comfortable and enjoyable drive. However, as I'm now paying for the fuel it might be advantageous to go for a diesel - I have a V12 XJS-C to help me drain my wallet, so don't want a petrol one!
Any responses, from anywhere in the country would be most welcome. :y
Many thanks
Ray

Incedibly rare to find a low mileage example, you may have more luck on Autotrader.
Good news is that a well cared for DTi (oil changes and diesel fuel filter changes are the key to longetivity of these engined cars) will run into very high mileages.

Also be aware all DTi's are manuals :)

If you want an Omega, and economy is a major consideration, don't write off petrol versions, consider petrol converted to LPG as well ... gi8ves virtually the same economy as a diesel version... but with a lot more fun :)
Given your location availability of LPG would be a consideration I accept, I know it is easily obtainable in France .. no idea about your neck of the woods.
DIY conversion is around £700 (UK price) and several members have done V6 variants themselves. Commercial conversion is now probably un-economic as over £2000 is more than the car is worth !!
Just a thought .. nowt else :) but it gives many many more options :)
