I decided with my omega needing four new tyres to replace the crap wanlis, new rocker gaskets and taxing im going to sell her. Buti gota feeling that could take a while afterall no one seems to want an mv6 any more even a mint one. So I've got it parked up in the compound at work outside is there anything I should do to look afterher while she's layed up. If I dont sell her by the time july comes and the taxruns out onmy astrai might use it again

If the compound is big enough I'd run it around for a few minutes each week, just to keep everything freed up,certainly start it on a regular basis, maybe if you can't drive it round the compound put it on axle stands just high enough to take the weight off the tyres etc.?

I can get upto about 30mph in the yard im hoping she sells quickly so then the temptation tokeep her goes lol.

leave the handbrake off and disconnect the neg terminal on the battery.

AND, send the tax disc back for a refund. If manual, prop the clutch pedal down with a bit of wood.

I wouldn't ever start a car that's laid up unless you're going to drive it a good 20 or 30 miles. Otherwise, you'll just rot through the exhaust and fill the engine with acids from combustion by-products.
Give it some fresh oil, fun it for a few minutes to get that flushed round the engine, then battery out and on a conditioner, handbrake off and in gear / park and leave it.

You can't get an engine up to proper working temp by revving the engine and driving it round a bit. Leave it be. ;)

You can decrease tire damage by increasing pressure. Read max pressure on tire wall, it usually 44 PSI. I am pretty sure 60-70 PSI wouldn't hurt tires, if car is parked.

would it be an idea to cover the wheel faces to protect the discs from the elements
