Would you fit a secondhand tensioner? Especially if it looked like this :)

Hardly seems worth effort buying second hand as more chance of problems not being cured..made worse.I like my car too much to waste money like that.

ITS NOT the actual tensioner roller that breaks, the guy is actuslly selling the very thin casting that snaps when people try to change the alternator belt without the correct tools or knowledge, so yep i would buy it today if i could get it sent to spain!!!!

£35 at a breakers??? Local garage got a BRAND NEW one for my Omy for £35+VAT.... and charged an hours labour £30+vat.
Wouldn't touch it wiv' a bargepole guv' honest. ;D ;D
