Title: 2,2 bensin engine thermostat exchange, how to air
Post by: olzz on 29 December 2012, 11:26:52
Hi all,

I'm in the middle of installing a new Wahler  thermostat to Omega and have a question related to airing. Im not going to flush out the coolant, but still there will be small amount of air penetrating to system when doing the job.

How to get air out of the cooling system? Any instruction or DYI manual is welcome.

Thank you in advance,
Olzz

Leave cap off coolant expansion bottle & let it run up  :y

Its reasonably self-bleeding. Just repeatedly squeeze the top hose as the thermostat opens.

Best done with heaters on full.
