There's adjustment at both ends of the regulator assembly and also on the window runners and where the glass attatches to the regulator :y

Ideally, the regulator needs to be positioned exactly where it was in the old door...

Also liberally apply a silicone based lubricant to the window rubbers :y

So how do I go about adjusting the regulators?

Missread your post :-[ I take it the regulators are the original ones thast are still rivetted to the door.

The rear channel is bolted in place and can be tweaked. Also have a read of the Haynes manual, chapter 11, pages 14-16.

Read between the lines and you should be able sort them out :y

Don't forget the silicon based lubricant on the rubbers. Motor can be carefully dismantled as well to ensure it is running freely.

Silicon lube. Or Ptfe spray.
