-
What engine?
Any codes stored?
Was it a genuine sensor?
-
engine is x30xe. no codes are stored and its a genuine sensor
-
Er... Petrol in it? :-\
Fuel filter?
-
yea lol it will start if i play with the throttle but will run rough and will stall when i let off the pedal
-
Idle control valve working? They need a good flush with crab cleaner periodically, with light oil...?
-
Try starting it with icv disconnected. If no good reconnect and try starting with MAF disconnected.
Quick easy checks.
As said above any codes?
Also note that its not unknown for new genuine Vx crank sensors to be doa!
Assume you got correct sensor - was it from a Vx dealer?
-
got it sorted it was a MAF thanks.

Wouldn't run at all due to maf? Why am I suspicious?
