Popped into Halfords the other day and they have almost all their oil on special offer.
This includes their Vauxhall / BMW spec. fully synthetic 5w30, for £10 for 4 litres. :y

The only thing I would add Kevin is that Vx Semi-Synthetic 10/40 with TC is 20 litres for the price of 15 litres, so £46-15 all in. So about £4 cheaper all in. ;)

But thats for semi, not fully synth.
OK, 4l is useless to anyone, but still a good price.
I noted the other day that their semi 10W40 was £10 for 5l, so slightly cheaper than TC. However, for me, TC oil is know to work well in my cars, and in the Kawasaki (wet clutch, so need to be careful), so I stick with it. I doubt the lawnmower really cares what oil it has, so it gets TC as well.

20 litre drum of dexos2 full fat is around the £50 mark last I looked.

I have not bought full synthetic so, frankly, I do not know, did not know, what its price was in comparison with any other oil. Now I do Kevin :y :y :y :y :y :y

Currently £20+vat for 5l, 4 for 3 offer. So approx same price as 1 x 20l

I've noticed recently that oil is now sold in 4 litre containers rather than 5 litres, but the price is about the same.... :-\ It's like Cadbury's reducing the size of Dairy Milk bars, but not the price!! >:(
I guess that many cars take just less than 5 litres when you change the oil, so now peeps have to buy 2 cans rather than 1... ? :(
I know it's disliked here, but ASDA had Castrol GTX (4 litres!) for £12 :)

That's about what I paid last time, so this stuff is significantly cheaper, without the hassle of going to the stealer and hassling them to give TC prices. :y
