Title: changing plugs
Post by: gpenny07931 on 05 January 2013, 13:40:11: Got the leads off and realised the plug wells are full of oil. Is it a bad idea to remove the plugs?

On 3.0 Estate they were full of oil so I used an old spray bottle sucker bit to draw most of it out, others say just sod it and let it dump into the bores.

Will smoke a fair bit though on start up ::) ;D

..........and Taxi Driver is right: you certainly need new cam cover gaskets plus the breather system blown threw thoroughly with carb cleaner. ;)

Oh, and also change the oil afterwards! :) :)
