Title: On the road to recovery!
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 05 January 2013, 15:13:52
Hi Guys,

I've not been around at all, lately. If I've missed any messages or posts, I apologise and will catch up with them as soon as possible.

Unfortunately I collapsed a few weeks ago, and ended up in hospital with a "pericardial effusion" which in English is fluid around the heart lining. This resulted in a stay in hospital, which nearly drove me to distraction  ;D

I am, however, well on the road to recovery, and am back home doing daily household things for myself again :y

Cheers,
James

Glad you are ok James, that's not a nice condition.  Make sure they investigate why you got it in the first place.  The list of potential causes is quite nasty.  Dont let them fob you off with a pressure release and a taxi home.

Having wiki'd the condition, as said, I'd want to know why it happened. Did they do any tests and find the cause? (Without being mosey of course.)

Anyway, glad you on the mend. :y
