Title: I love my car a bit more today
Post by: SMD on 05 January 2013, 20:04:47
Finally cured that gearbox/lever squeak. The culprit was the bottom of the small lever was rubbing on the metal gear steps (under the gaitor). Now I need to sort out the rear seat squeak. How does the rear seat come off again?  :y

I can see two plastic levers under the rear seats. Do I need to pull the levers down or sideways? I don't want to snap them off

Pull them towards the front of the vehicle, I think it'd almost be impossible to break them. Once done, the reat seat base can just be taken out, but with rear heated seats be mindful of the wiring.

as josh says just a good pull on the 2 levers under neath, to refit push the back down and in and then locate the lugs into the font holes should stop squeaking then.
