Hi guys.

Does anyone know the flow rate of the 2.5 fuel pumps?

I don't know flow rate. You can probably drive and see fuel pressure. Maybe you'll need to remove cowl cover and use tape to attach pressure gauge to hood.

Interesting question, I am curious as to why you want to know. If you floor it going uphill, is there enough power? If there is, then your flow is OK, if not, then your pump may be U/S. Easy to source and to change.

The simple way to measure it is to disconnect the return line from the fuel rail / tank, extend the return using a piece of hose and place it in a fuel can, ensuring that you are in a well ventilated area. Run the engine for a minute and see how much fuel you get. Engine will use negligible fuel at idle, and pump will be operating at the regulated pressure. As said, though, it will be more than adequate for the most thirsty engine fitted as standard.
