I had a GTE with digidash. Novelty soon wears off, and you crave a proper one...

Identical to my old one. Priced at around two grand ! I had to pay to have mine raken away on the back of a lorry seven years ago. :(

It just reminds me of my old Senator CD, also a "H" reg.

If I had a spare £2,000 I would be going over to Essex now!  That is just a lovely example, without, as far as I can see, any rear wheel arch rot, and just 107K on the lovely digital clock.

They get fewer by the year, so that is a great opportunity to buy in to what is the Senator world. mmmmmmmmmmmm.....lovvellly!!! :-* :-* :-* :-* 8) 8)

My Dad had one identical to that. Also H reg. Brings back happy memories.

EDIT: Actually, his was a K reg. K293WPC, IIRC.

Amen to that Brother. Though I love the Senny, and own a Carlton Gsi, I long to own a Monza GSE.  :y

lol converted mine a week after buying it!! then wiped the floor with all the sennys and Gsi carltons at trax with it,still got pics of it here, loved it, but got offered a huge amount of money for it buyer then ran it for 2 years but was neglecting his prized 12v 38000 miles 12v monza, so he stripped the engine and box out of mine and put it in his and scrapped a perfectly solid anthracite monza gse!! didnt find out till it was to late!

Ian Marsh on ABS is breaking his 24V manual Monza that ended up as a track car only. he was running it on triple carbs. he is transplanting the mechanicals into a Commadore. he also owns the old Circuit of Ireland rally Monza.

Was that the one driven by Austin McHale ? He was a absolute nutter, never seemed to learn the throttle worked both ways, flat out everywhere.Great to watch. :)
Istr,he was refused permission to replace the heavy glass Monza tailgate with a perspex one by rally a scrutineers,so he had his mechanics loosen the fixings and lo& behold it fell off the car half way through the first stage, and he drove the rest of the rally without one. I suppose you have to be a bit of a mentalist to decide to rally a Monza of all things,in the first place.  ::)
