I've piddled about today fitting a pair of Insignia washers, even using the proper tool to adjust them they just won't go high enough. And I've misplaced my originals that I removed (it was a fortnight ago, and I've thrown a couple of strops in the workshop since then...).
So, before I ring the dealer, anyone got a couple of washer jets to fit a 2003 FL? :y

I was thinking of doing the Insignia Washer Jets is it something not worth doing then? as mine totally dont work i think theres years of limescale build up in the head as i can hear the pump but opps all happens lol
-
opps? lol

Even using the proper adjustment tool, they don't seem to aim high enough to actually clear the screen as intended. They could do with sitting a couple of mm more proud of the scuttle.

Istr Twiglet did this mod and was less than impressed with it. ;)

You need to modify the scuttle slightly. :y
Carefully scallop the hole in the scuttle on the screen side. If you don't, the jet catches on the lip of the scuttle, pulling it down.

Have you cleaned out the suction filter/strainer from the bottle? ::)

No local scrap yards? :-\

they are probably only £1-2 each new....The insignia spray ones certainly were.
trouble with 2nd hand is they are so brittle they often snap on removal.
Have you tried a quick pm to Andy C?

I thought the op wanted headlight washer jets for some reason.Ive probably got a pair of windscreen washer jets in the shed. ;D
If they are only a couple of quid each new,its probably best to buy new ones. :y
