unmanned planes. the future face of wars - well the face of now for many!

I was lucky enough to see Spain's "secret" solar powered drone that flew low round the world two years ago. Didn't make the headlines but there was plenty on the Internet about it. It is amazing what man can do in the name of being able to kill someone else first.

Yes seen this a while ago. Stealth drone, natural progression I suppose.

Interesting though. :y

The windscreen looks quite large for an unmanned aircraft!

It will do a job in the first few days when the bad guys SAM / Command and Control systems need taking down but how the hell are you going to get them to work when the bad guys have taken down all you satelites is beyond me  ;)

They are not just limited to control via x-band :y

I wonder if the pilot will have a matching "orifice" coloured uniform? For camouflage purposes? :)

Thats the only problem with stuff like this and being out of the loop for 20 years but do tell (within the bounds of that piece of paper we signed when we first joined up that is)  :)

Link 16 type thingy I suspect  ;)
