Quick question, my daughter has a ipod nano ( i think) anyway she has managed to convert all the menus into japanise :D if i connect it to the computer can i put it back to english.

My daughter has an old Ipod nano here. Do you want to take this to PM as i intend to talk you through it like opening a safe !
If everything is in Japanese, i'll try and lead you to settings, language etc.

Switch it on. Click left wheel to take cursor to the top. Now, take cursor down 5 places and press middle button.
Now left wheel to take cursor all the way to the top again. Then, down 6 and press middle button.
Left wheel to take cursor to the top again. Down 1 and press middle button.
If that doesn't work, then i can try and lead you to the reset button to bring it back to factory settings.

You say you think it's a Nano...... If it is a Nano, it's about 9cm x 4 cm with a wheel appearance control on the front.

The menu varies slightly depending on which generation iPod it is, but principle is the same. You may find the demo's on 'You Tube' helpful as they run you through the settings to re-set the language on most generations. :y

This is a typical 'Pub' or kid trick to put a friends mobile into Japanese! :o

Thanks for the help chaps :y I think she has sorted it out because she has taken it to school.
