Title: 'Fraid I'm gonna have to stop watching Dale
Post by: STMO123 on 16 January 2013, 18:40:02
Just been on the news that the cost of a lottery ticket is to rise to £2 in the autumn. I play two lines on Wed and Sat, about £20  month. Buggered if I'm gonna double that to £40. I'll just have to make sure I don't watch, then I won't know.

100% increase ...? does that mean prize money will be doubled or will the Government just use it for more " good causes " ?

Yup. Small prizes will be increased (£25 for 3 numbers), and larger prizes decreased. Apparently, after yonks doing research, they came to the conclusion that we are all morons who will continue playing no matter what.
