Post by: omega3000 on 19 January 2013, 13:16:28
Can anyone shed any light on how to replace an indicator bulb on a peugeot 106  :-\ No access in the engine bay to it and the light unit wont come out unless the bumper's off  >:(

Cant quote on the 106 I am afraid but have just done a headlight bulb on a 2009 Astra MK5 and there is a little flap in the inner wheel arch plastic bit. Turn the steering for easier access. I found it a reasonable job, would not like to do it in the wet as found it easier to sit on the floor.

HTH in some small way.

IIRC pull rubber cover off carefully, there will be a retaining clip squeeze it in, bulb should come out

Mate go to any motor factors-they sell a set of funny looking sockets that undo various sump plugs  :y

EMD,it may be worth you changing the timing belt if you don't know the history, very easy belt to change and well worth doing as a broken one will cause many ££'s of damage :y
