It would be helpfull if those welcoming Newbies started at the bottom of the list and worked their way up to the top, that way the latest members stay at the top of the list.
-
I am probably guilty of messing up the listing order by welcoming randomly ---- for which I accept a (little) slap, and apologise :-[
Being a Count of very little brain I can never remember who I have welcomed ::) Does anyone have a system of sorts ?
-
My system - click on the 'New' icon next to thread, and if its not the first post in the thread showing, I've already read, and hence welcomed.
-
Oh, and remember, once a thread is more than 7 days old in newbies section, no more welcoming, as it just keeps dragging up old threads. But not doing this, we can usually keep all the last 7 days new joiners in the first 2 pages.

Cheers TB :y

I start at the bottom, open the first post, check the date and time, then I know whether I have welcomed them or not.

aha, so this is how the post count get accellarated then
